There are two automatic testing options available with the Rescue Alert medical alarm system: the Voice Test or the Dial Test. Our medical alert system comes standard with the Automatic Voice Testing feature enabled.
The following occurs during an Automatic Voice Test:
- The medical alert automatically sends a test signal during daytime hours.
- If your telephone is being used, the medical alert system waits until the line is available.
- A friendly attendant greets you over the speaker to verify the test.
- The circuitry of the medical alert system, including the microphone, speaker and panic button is tested.
- The Rescue Alert attendant will verify your name, address, and telephone number.
- If a test is not performed according to schedule, the response center will contact you to help determine the cause.
- Testing can be scheduled for any regular interval.
There is no charge for the standard voice testing, which preforms a test once per month. Pricing for additional tests can be found here.
