The Rescue Alert medical alert is equipped with an internal rechargeable battery; the battery provides uninterrupted power to your medical alert for up to 90 hours if AC power is lost. This means that even during an extended power outage, you will still be able to communicate with the response center through your medical alert. When AC power is restored, the medical alert will automatically recharge its battery.
