Battery Monitoring
The Rescue Alert medical alarm's battery provides 90 hours of backup power. While the battery powers your medical alert, the battery condition is constantly monitored.
If the battery condition in the medical alert drops to a warning level, a "Battery Low" message is sent to the Response Center, and a response center attendant notifies you or one of your responders.
If the battery condition drops to a critical level, your Rescue Alert sends a "Battery Fail" indication to the response center, and a response center attendant notifies you or one of your responders. After a "Battery Fail" message is sent to the Response Center, your Rescue Alert automatically turns off to prevent battery damage or telephone line interference. Once AC power is restored, your Rescue Alert automatically begins charging the battery.
